Critics: red tape wraps charitable gifts rebate

This year is the first that Swedes can get a tax rebate for donating to charity. Donors can get up to 25 percent of their money back, up to SEK 6,000.The Swedish Tax Agency has so far received 800,000 donation statements, showing that Swedes have donated about SEK one billion to the qualifying charity organizations.
