Flesh-eating bacteria on the rise in Sweden

Ninety-six cases of flesh-eating bacteria infections were reported in Sweden in January. The deadly A-Streptococci infection was the cause of 54 deaths in 2012. The Swedish Institute for Communicable Disease Control says that these are the highest rates since 2007, when they started keeping records.
