Can complexity thinking advance management and help fix capitalism? The answer is that it can, although not in the way that most complexity scientists expect.
We will learn more on November 14-15, 2013, when the fifth annual Global Peter Drucker Forum, to be held in Vienna, Austria, the birthplace of the late Peter F. Drucker, takes up the theme of "Managing Complexity." Harvard Business Review announced this week that it has joined the 2013 Forum as a media partner. Adi Ignatius, the editor-in-chief of HBR, said, "Perhaps no contributor to Harvard Business Review has had a greater impact on the practice of management than Peter Drucker."
