Toxic smoke still threatening Halmstad: The fire that started Friday night in a harbour building in the southern town of Halmstad continues to burn, but the rescue services say the risk of large explosions seems to be over. The building contained large amounts of fertiliser and other chemicals, and firemen were worried they could ignite. The toxic fumes and smoke caused by the blaze are currently blowing out to sea, and towards the nearby town of Laholm. However, the winds are turning, which mean the whole Halmstad region could be affected by the smoke.
