World's First Privately Funded Lunar Telescope Will be Available to General Public for Space Observation
Something wonderful is happening in space. It’s not just a playpen for large government programs or ‘big science’ anymore. Today we are witnessing a revolution in access to space, made possible by innovation and entrepreneurship beyond Earth. In the last few years, lost cost spacecraft platforms called cubesats have been routinely launched into space by universities at a fraction of the cost of traditional space missions. Last month NASA successfully launched three smartphone satellites and showed the world that the supercomputers in our pockets make great spacecraft.
