The amount of people over the age of seventy who find themselves on the national debt register is growing at a faster rate than any other age group in Sweden, according to news agency TT.
More than 19,000 people over seventy ended up in the debt records kept by the Swedish Enforcement Authority last year, an increase of 13 percent compared to two years earlier.
The authority says that most in the over-70 age group have a problem with making payments for car insurance and utility bills.
